Wild Garlic Foraging Days
Come and join us on the 3rd & 17th March for a 2 1/2 hour walk focusing on Wild Garlic and how you can use it in your recipes.
Meet Andrew who will guide you in to the Secret Woodland to explore, find and pick your own wild garlic.
Andrew has been foraging since a small boy. He is unbelievably passionate about foraging foods and sharing his knowledge.
Andrew will guide you and your family in to the Secret Woodland on the outskirts of the Peak District and explain where and what to look for when picking Wild Garlic.
Along the way Andrew will explain and identify other edible and poisonous lookalikes that we come across.
Please feel free to stop Andrew at any time to ask questions.
Andrew and his wife Sarah have been making wonderful nibbles from the things they have foraged and will offer small tasters on the day.
Whilst extreme care and supervision will be in place on the day to ensure that everyone remains safe, consumption of wild food is done entirely at the risk of the individual workshop attendee.
Occasionally adverse reactions may occur when trying new foods.
All foods served on the day will be things Andrew has made and consumed many times.
This workshop is designed to get you involved as much as possible, this is a hands-on workshop, where you can expect to get really stuck in.
Designed for families alike, this workshop is great for all the family.
Expect to take Wild Garlic home with you, to try the many recipes that Wild Garlic can be used in.
